We work with sidewalk sheds, supported scaffolds, pipe scaffolds, frame scaffolds, suspended scaffolds, temporary access scaffolding, and general scaffold rentals based on project needs.
Do you handle demolition and cleanup?
Yes. Our own team handles demolition and site cleanup services. We can assist with interior demolition, selective demolition, wall removal, floor removal, ceiling removal, fixture removal, debris removal, construction debris hauling, post-demolition cleaning, and worksite cleaning. Demolition and site cleanup are among the most common reasons customers contact JESS Safety LLC.

Yes. Our own team provides painting services for commercial and residential properties. We handle interior painting, exterior painting, wall painting, ceiling painting, trim painting, surface preparation, touch-ups, and commercial painting projects. We have completed commercial painting work in the Bronx and can review your property, surfaces, access needs, and schedule before providing a quote.
Do you provide estimates before work?
Yes. Free estimates and consultations are available for many projects. The process usually begins with a phone call or email, followed by photos or videos, a site visit, a written quote, and a contract. Certain inspections may require a fee, and final pricing depends on the project scope, site condition, access, documents, approvals, and required work.
Are you insured and properly certified?
Yes. JESS Safety LLC carries Workers’ Compensation and liability insurance. We are also a certified MBE/SBE/DBE business and have Site Safety Supervisor credentials. We have certifications connected with New York City, New York City MTA, NY/NJ Port Authority, and DASNY. Certificate numbers and detailed license information are not listed publicly at this time, but our team can discuss project-specific documentation when appropriate.
Can you help with public-sector and MTA-related work?
Yes. Public-sector and government-related work is a major focus for JESS Safety LLC. We support MTA-related, city-related, agency-related, commercial, and contractor projects with services such as site safety, scaffolding, painting, demolition, site cleanup, general contracting, documentation support, and project coordination. We are positioned to support clients that need a certified MBE/SBE/DBE construction partner with practical field experience.
Do you work with homeowners and property managers?
Yes. We work with homeowners, property managers, building owners, apartment-related clients, commercial property owners, retail stores, general contractors, developers, public-sector clients, and city-related projects. Whether you need painting, renovation coordination, demolition, scaffolding, cleanup, or general contracting support, we can review the property and recommend the right next step based on the project scope.
Can you handle residential renovations?
Yes. We provide residential construction and renovation support for homes, apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, interiors, exteriors, additions, and remodeling projects. For larger residential work, we can manage the project and coordinate the required trades. We have completed a bathroom renovation in Harlem and can review your space, access, drawings, permits, and project goals before work begins.
Do you provide commercial construction services?
Yes. We provide commercial construction, commercial renovation, office renovation, retail buildout, tenant improvement, storefront repair, business renovation, property upgrade, and project coordination services. We work with commercial buildings, retail stores, contractors, and public-sector opportunities. Depending on the scope, our team may perform key work directly and coordinate subcontractors for additional trades.
Can you help with property renovations?
Yes. We provide property renovation support for interior upgrades, exterior upgrades, room remodeling, space conversions, finish upgrades, and larger improvement projects. JESS Safety LLC can manage renovation work from planning through completion depending on the project type. Some services are performed by our own team, while other trades are coordinated through trusted subcontractors.
Do you provide building repair services?
Yes. We provide building repair and renovation support for interior repairs, exterior repairs, wall repairs, ceiling repairs, floor repairs, damage repairs, structural repair coordination, and property maintenance needs. For larger repair projects, we can coordinate related trades through general contracting and project management. We review the site and scope before confirming what work is needed.
Do you provide roofing services?
Yes. Roofing services are available through coordinated subcontractor support. We can help with roof repair, roof replacement, roof waterproofing, flat roofs, shingle roofs, commercial roofs, residential roofs, roof coatings, leak repair support, full replacements, and waterproofing coordination. Roofing work is not promoted as an in-house service because it is handled through subcontractors.
Do you offer masonry services?
Yes. Masonry services are available through subcontractor coordination. This can include brick work, block work, stone work, masonry repairs, wall masonry, step repairs, chimney masonry, paver repairs, repointing work, and masonry waterproofing support depending on project needs. We manage the coordination so the work fits the larger project scope when masonry is required.
Can you help with concrete work?
Yes. Concrete work is available through coordinated subcontractor support. Services may include concrete repairs, cement work, sidewalk repairs, driveway concrete, concrete slabs, concrete steps, concrete patching, surface repairs, concrete sealing, and concrete waterproofing support. We review the site condition, access, scope, and required coordination before confirming the best approach.
Do you offer power washing and graffiti removal?
Yes. Our own team provides power washing, pressure washing, pavement cleaning, sidewalk cleaning, driveway cleaning, brick cleaning, paver cleaning, exterior washing, storefront washing, surface cleaning, and graffiti removal. We have completed graffiti removal work in the Bronx and can help improve exterior surfaces before painting, property upgrades, or general cleanup.
Do you provide landscaping services?
We provide limited landscaping services, including tree removal and stump removal. We have completed tree removal work in the Bronx. Landscaping is not promoted as a broad full-service offering, so we review each request carefully to confirm whether it fits the services we provide.
Can you help with permits and safety plans?
Yes. We can assist with filing permit applications and safety plans where applicable. We also provide safety documentation support, safety logs, scaffolding paperwork support, and site safety coordination. We do not claim to handle every DOB-related service, and we do not guarantee permit approval outcomes. The exact support depends on the project scope and required documentation.
Do you provide direct inspection services?
We do not promote inspections as a direct standalone service. Our safer role is site safety monitoring and coordination, documentation support, safety logs, worker coordination, and inspection coordination where applicable. Certain inspections may require fees, and we will explain what applies before moving forward.
How does your project process work?
Our process usually begins with a phone call or email. We may ask for photos, videos, property access details, drawings, permits, project information, and scheduling needs. A site visit may be required before we provide a quote. Once the scope is clear, we provide a written quote, move into contract, collect a deposit where applicable, and begin work based on the approved schedule.
Do I need a site visit first?
A site visit is often needed before final pricing and scheduling can be confirmed. Photos and videos are helpful, but many construction, demolition, scaffolding, site safety, painting, and renovation projects need an in-person review to understand access, site conditions, scope, safety needs, materials, and coordination requirements. A site visit helps us provide a clearer and more accurate quote.
What should I prepare before contacting you?
You can prepare photos, videos, project details, property access information, drawings, permits, scheduling needs, and any approvals already in place. If the project involves public-sector work, commercial buildings, apartments, scaffolding, site safety, or renovation coordination, documents and site details can help us understand the scope faster. The more complete the information is, the easier it is for us to guide the next step.
Do you require deposits before starting?
Deposits may be required for private, residential, or commercial projects depending on the type of work and project scope. Public-sector work follows award and payment schedule requirements before work begins. We discuss payment expectations during the quote and contract stage so the client understands what is required before scheduling the job.
Do you offer emergency or same-day service?
No. We do not currently offer emergency, same-day, urgent, or 24/7 services. Our work is scheduled through a proper intake, review, quote, contract, and planning process. This helps us coordinate labor, access, materials, safety needs, documentation, and subcontractors where applicable.

Can you handle storefront and retail work?
Yes. We provide commercial renovation, retail buildout, storefront repair, business renovation, property upgrade, painting, demolition, cleanup, and general contracting support. We can review the storefront or retail space, discuss access and scheduling needs, and coordinate the work based on the project scope. Our goal is to help commercial clients complete improvements with organized communication and proper planning.
Do you provide pay master services?
Yes. Pay master services may be available where applicable for non-union contractors on union projects. This is a specialized support service and is not usually a main reason clients contact us. We can discuss whether pay master support fits a qualifying union project need.
Can I apply for a job with you?
Yes. JESS Safety LLC is currently looking for an estimator. Interested candidates may contact us to learn more about current career opportunities. Details such as salary, schedule, requirements, and application steps should be confirmed directly with the company.
